Dear Families and Students of East Haven Academy,

On behalf of our school community, I want to personally welcome you to the 2025-2026 academic year! We strive and commit to provide all learners with hands-on, purposeful educational practices and experiences. We ask that you, our students, always strive to be the best that you can be, by demonstrating kindness and respect to yourself, to others, and to our learning environments.

To support you in understanding the curriculum, expectations, policies and procedures of East Haven Academy, and those of the East Haven School District, we provide this handbook and request that you read it carefully and keep it on-hand as an ongoing reference. Our handbook guides all EHA teaching, learning, and collaborations. We are honored that you, as our students’ parents and family members, are entrusting us with your children’s education, safety and well-being. In return, we ask that you, as our essential partners and stakeholders, help and support us in understanding and meeting your child’s academic, as well as social and emotional needs. We ask our students to always put forth best efforts by holding themselves accountable for the high expectations we put forth upon them. It is because of these shared beliefs that our EHA motto remains as “Give your best effort in all that you do and have a great learning day.”
